The Need for Chocolate

Why do I keep buying Halloween candy?? I actually started buying it a few weeks ago. I told myself that I'd just keep it out of sight until all those adorable little trick-or-treaters started knocking on my door. yeah, right! We've gone through bags of it! I have a huge sweet tooth, and zero will power. If it is in the house, I'll eat it. I really should know better, and only buy candy that I don't like. But who can resist a (or several) bite sized Snickers bar?

Anyway, the twins have no interest in trick-or-treating this year. I guess I can't rifle through their bags of goodies. Actually, they are going to a boy/girl Halloween party/dance this Saturday night. It is being hosted by a girl from class, at a country club, with a DJ....... Peter asked me to please buy him some cinnamon Altoids today. uh oh, I think I need some more chocolate!

I Did It and They Did It

13.1 miles in two hours and some change. I was sore last night, but I feel surprisingly good today. I'm glad I did it, but I'm not in a hurry to do it again anytime soon. More then anything, for me, is that it gets boring to run for that long. Thank goodness for ipods!
Will and Peter's football team made the play-offs! We are so proud of them! They've been playing hard since August. Game 1 is in two weeks. They have to play a really good team and win in order to move up the ladder. Stay tuned......

LID Day

Never, in my wildest dreams, did I think I'd be facing a 2++ year wait....... It just goes on and on.
I was recently told to look for the roses in my life. Since I've started paying attention, I've seen many.
I'll keep waiting, and looking for the roses.

Bummed!

They look a little bummed out, don't they? It was another great game, very exciting, but we lost, 13 to 12. The boys played their hearts out....Peter scored a touchdown, and Will had some awesome running plays (when did he learn that spin move to break tackles?) And on defense? I'll just say these two love to hit.
On another note, I had the sweetest, most heart warming dream ever! I'll bet you all can guess what it was about......

Football Pictures

Peter #34 (right side)

William #12 (left side)

Here are a few photos from last weekend game. Peter and Will play on the Creek Bruins team. This was an away game, so they are in their white uniforms. I wish I had better pictures; I'm too busy watching and cheering them on. It was a GREAT game. Will scored 2 touchdowns!! Final score: Hawks 11 Bruins 20
woohoo!
